The Mavericks vs. Warriors live stream features two teams with vastly different playoff track records. For the Warriors, they are targeting their fourth championship of the Curry era, while the Mavericks, with Luka Doncic at the helm of their roster, are looking to start a winning streak of their own.
After watching the NBA playoffs from home for the past two seasons, the Warriors are highly motivated to make it to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2019. But it won’t be easy for them as Luka Doncic and the Mavericks are on their way.
Golden State finished the regular season ranked No. 3 in the Western Conference. The Warriors closed the deal in the first round by defeating the Nuggets in five games. The Grizzlies posed a more serious threat in the second round, but Golden State was able to end that six-game streak.
The pursuit of the Finals begins with this NBA Playoffs live stream.
The Mavericks have had plenty of struggles in the playoffs since Dirk Nowitzki and Jason Kidd led them to a title over LeBron James’ Miami Heat in 2011. Despite making it to the postseason six times since that title, they made it to the first round every time. It seems very different this time.
Now the head coach of this Dallas team, Kidd has seen Slovenian sensation Luka Doncic take the league and these playoffs by storm. The 23-year-old has averaged more points per game (31.5) than anyone in the postseason. Only the Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo averaged more (31.7) but was knocked out by the Celtics last week.
The Warriors are back at a level of play many doubted they would ever reach again. After five straight finals and three championships between 2014 and 2019, the “Dub’s” watched as Kevin Durant left for Brooklyn, sniper Klay Thompson missed two and a half seasons through injury, and Steph Curry sat all but five games of the 2019-2020 season with a broken one Hand. All of these shortcomings caused Golden State to miss the playoffs in each of the last two seasons.
Now the Splash Brothers are cooking up the postseason again, with Curry averaging 27 points per game and Thompson hitting just under 41% of his three-point attempts.
Despite the Mavericks winning their regular-season series with the Warriors 3-1, Golden State is a 5-point favorite in Game 1 against Dallas. The over/under is 214.5.

Dallas, meanwhile, finished the regular season No. 4 in the West. The Mavericks started the NBA Playoffs without Doncic because he was sidelined for two games in the first round with a calf injury. However, the Mavericks still throttled the Jazz in the first round, winning in six games. They then took their game to another level in the second round, beating the top seeded Suns in seven games.
Can Doncic and the Mavs continue their stellar game and win away in Game 1? Or does the Warriors’ championship pedigree give them an early advantage?

The Mavericks come in after a wild game of 7 where they blasted the suns in the street. Luka Doncic was phenomenal in that game, and he needs to be great again for Dallas to steal one at Golden State. The Mavericks have plenty of capable shooters, so they’ll look to take advantage of Golden State’s fullbacks in this contest.
The Warriors enter this Conference Finals to return to the Finals and extend their dynasty. This team has not lost a series since 2014-15, which saw Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green play through the entire matchup. With Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole stepping into bigger roles, it looks like this team could peak at just the right time. There were conflicting moments at both ends of the parquet, but this is the series where Golden State has to get it right.
If you’re anything like me, you’re still processing elements of how that blowout happened in Game 7 vs Phoenix. But the time to move from celebration to preparation could be near. why not us Why not now?

The series will run at least four games, with the other three games being mentioned as “if necessary”. Maybe the Mavericks are just sweeping the Warriors. That would be a nice payback for 2007.
