Epica Awards announces the list of finalists 2022 | Trending

The Epica Awards have revealed the shortlist for their 2022 competition. “Making the shortlist is a fantastic achievement, so we’d like to congratulate everyone who appears,” the awards show said in a statement.

Over the past few days, a single panel of editors and senior journalists have viewed and analyzed more than 3,000 entries. We want to thank all the agencies, producers and clients who participated. Each entry has been carefully evaluated by the judges, offering valuable media exposure to all entrants.

These finalists will move on to the grand jury, which will vote online from November 23rd to December 2nd. Gold and Grand Prize winners will be announced during a special online ceremony on December 8.

Silver and bronze winners will be posted on the Epica Awards website the following day, December 9.

Since 1987, the jury of the Epica Awards has been made up exclusively of editors and senior journalists from the world’s leading titles on creativity and communication. They are supported by journalists from specialized fields such as post-production, virtual reality, design, finance and luxury.

This year, the Epica Awards received 3,099 entries, a slight decrease compared to last year explained by the absence of Russian agencies, which were banned from entering. The highest number of entries comes from North America (400), followed by Ukraine (396), Germany (276) and France (158). There was an increase in entries from Asia, particularly Thailand, China and India. On the networks side, McCann, Publicis and Accenture were particularly well represented, but independent entrants are increasingly in the majority, accounting for more than 55% of total entries this season.
